What sort of couples do you work with?

Our clients are interested in having their authentic story told whilst having a great day. They are not bound by tradition as they like to do things a little differently, their own way! They value friendship and real moments above all else. If you want creative, authentic imagery with an edge, then we may be the right fit for each other. We see wedding photography as a collaborative process and our clients do too. Ultimately they trust us to capture their day as we see it.

Do you ever use acronyms?

We would never do such a thing.

Are you available for our wedding?

That’s an easy one. Just fill in the contact form below and you should hear from us within 48hrs…maybe 49. We will provide a detailed breakdown of our services and prices. Alternatively email us at sosacphotography@gmail.com or call us on 086 8107867.

How would you describe your style?

Our style is a blend of artistic reportage photography and editorial influenced portraiture. Put simply, we believe that true beauty is found in natural moments and emotions. So we take care to put you at ease and that results in images that capture the genuine feel of your wedding day.

Do you do this full time and are you insured?

Boring question = Boring (but important) answer. That is to say, yes we are fully insured with public liability and professional indemnity cover. Shane is a full time dedicated wedding photographer and shoot all of the weddings. Adele takes care of album design and second shoots at some of our weddings.

Do you work Internationally?

Yes we work both Nationally and Internationally. We do our best to keep any long distance travel charges/costs to a minimum.

Where are you based?

For most of the year we are based in Cork city, Ireland. We love Cork (some [read Corkonians] say it’s the best city in the world) but we also have perpetually itchy feet.

How many images will we get?

A lot of time is spent editing the best images from the day. This is typically between 500 and 800 images.  Included in all collections is a USB drive of all the edited images. The images will all be high resolution and will not be watermarked. You will have full access to them and can print them as often as you like.

When will the photos be ready?

6-8 weeks after the wedding.

What is full day coverage?

From morning preparations until you walk in for the meal.

Do you stay later?

Yes, if requested in advance I (Shane) can be there to shoot the speeches, first 5 dances and other key moments. This is the extended coverage option.

I live abroad so its not possible for me to meet you before the wedding, is this a problem?

Definitely not, a lot of our clients are living abroad; it’s very easy to discuss all the details over a skype call.

How do we book you?

Once you have confirmed you would like to book SOSAC we will send through a booking form. The date is secured once the deposit (€300) and completed booking form have been received.

When do we pay the balance?

The balance is payable on the day of the wedding at the latest, this is standard industry practice amongst reputable wedding photographers.

Do we need to decide on an album now?

No is the simple answer. The decision to order an album can be made up to 9 months after you have received your images. That said, we don’t want you to consign your photos to digital obscurity and will attempt to woo you with our beautiful range of albums.

Can we buy prints of your travel photography?

Yes. Prices start at €195 for a framed print, a unique engagement or wedding gift.

How does your photo booth work?

Our photo booth is usually set up in a corner of the function room. It consists of a funky backdrop, studio light, lots of ridiculous props, camera on a tripod and a trigger so that your guests can take pictures of themselves late into the night. It runs for two hours from the end of the speeches.

Do you use social media?

Yes, find us on Facebook and the SOSAC blog to see our latest work or for some wedding inspiration!

Do we need to provide a meal for you?

Only if we are booked for extended coverage. It’s a busy day and there is usually no downtime. If we are booked for extended coverage then a light meal is very much appreciated. It will help us take amazing photos.
