Working with two designers that have an understanding for the creative process and trust you to capture their day in your style is like wedding photography nirvana. Maria and Andreas are two such people. The morning was spent in the gate lodge of Kilshane house which was a snug fit. It was a late ceremony so a lot of time was spent in the lodge but even though it lacks the grandeur of the main house it was the perfect setting to capture the warmth and intimacy within the two families. The civil ceremony took place in the unique atmospheric surroundings of the conservatory. Here Maria and Andreas encased a note (and some wine) for each other in a box that they will open in years to come. After a brief sojourn at the lake, there was nothing left to do except eat, drink and party all night. I’m really grateful to Maria and Andreas for inviting me to capture their beautiful wedding day.
