The essence of wedding photography isn’t capturing details and formalities. It’s documenting real friendships and connections, the things that sustain us and give our lives meaning. As such it is incumbent on us wedding photographers, every weekend, to put aside all the distractions in our daily lives and immerse ourselves in the lives of others. This is what I attempt to do on a wedding day and hopefully, it rings true when you look through some of my favourite moments from 2019.
A few personal images below. 2019 was a big one for us. Our beautiful son Rían was born (underwater!) in March and he has massively enriched our lives and himself and Finn are already thick as thieves.
